The faculty for the Internal Medicine residency program provides instruction, supervision, and evaluation of resident physicians as required to meet the educational objectives of the program and to assure supervised participation of resident physicians in clinical care at a level appropriate to their training and experience. Assist in enhancing a research environment in the program including teaching, learning and research with the aim of encouraging curiosity and critical thinking based on an understanding of physiology, pathophysiology, differential diagnosis, treatments, treatment alternatives, efficiency of care and patient safety.
